French for kidz

Why should your child learn French?

Knowing French will help your child to understand more about himself, his country, and his fellow Canadians. Collège Mathieu is the best place in Saskatoon to immerse your child in an enjoyable, rich and varied French cultural and language program. We have been offering the highest-quality language instruction for over 25 years. Our classes are designed to develop fluency, ease & confidence in conversational French.

Your child will receive a certificate from College Mathieu after each session completed if the average mark of 70% is reached.

2 age groups, 3 different levels

  • Les Juniors, 6 to 11 years old

In this course, the students discover the French language and culture. A simple literacy component ensures that they not only listen, speak, sing and play in their new language, but read and write as well.

  • Les Seniors, 12 to 14 years old

Give your kids a head start in French! Under the guidance of an expert native-speaking teacher, students boost their language skills while exploring French culture. Our small classes and proven immersion method will boost their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
